Jim Rogers, co-founder of the Quantum Fund, echoed this optimism following an in-depth visit to Deep Meta AI. “Guangming has the potential to become the next Silicon Valley,” he said, offering a strong vote of confidence in Guangming’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem.

当阿尔及利亚的倪哈（Nihad Cheraga）博士选择扎根光明科学城，她看到的不仅是眼前的实验室，更是一幅创新生态蓬勃生长的图景。作为生物医学工程领域的专业人才，她直言：“我坚信，光明科学城未来前景广阔。”

When Dr. Nihad Cheraga from Algeria chose to settle in Guangming Science City, she saw not just advanced laboratories, but a vibrant innovation ecosystem taking shape. As a biomedical engineering professional, she shared her confidence: “I feel like Guangming Science City has a big prospect for the future.”

油管频道拥有786万订阅者的墨西哥博主诺埃莉娅（Noelia Rodriguez），则将镜头对准了高效运转的大科学装置上浮现出的未来轮廓。“这是他们最先进的设施之一，”她热情地介绍着合成生物研究重大科技基础设施，“这里有多个实验岛，能自动化地进行不同实验。”诺埃莉娅与来自“中国有约”国际媒体团的记者们一起，用不同语言和视角，向海外各地网友共同描绘着这座闪耀着科技光芒的新城。

Mexican YouTuber Noelia Rodriguez, whose channel boasts 7.86 million subscribers, turned her camera toward the future taking shape within Guangming’s cutting-edge large-scale scientific facilities.“Esta es una de sus instalaciones más avanzadas,” she said with enthusiasm, introducing the Shenzhen Synthetic Biology Infrastructure, “es un centro con varias islas en donde se conducen diferentes experimentos de manera automatizada.” Together with journalists from the “A Date with China” international media tour, Noelia and her peers portrayed this young city glowing with the light of technological innovation, through a variety of languages and perspectives.

“To see this combination of science with art, I think it makes for a balanced life.” At the 2024 “Guangming Outdoor Concert · Science City Jazz Night,” a remark from a foreign audience captured this unique urban charm of Guangming.

“科学+艺术”的创意交融，从来不止于舞台之上，更深深扎根在光明的城市肌理里。

This combination of science and art extends far beyond the stage; it is deeply embedded in Guangming’s urban identity.

去年，希腊国家歌剧院主创团队在中国首演经典歌剧《茶花女》后，专程走进光明，试穿传统汉服、漫步虹桥公园、探访深圳科学技术馆，并在海外社交媒体账号上与光明区友好互动，向世界讲述着国际艺术家们与这座科创之城之间跨越山海的相遇故事。

Last year, after the Greek National Opera premiered the classic opera La Traviata in China, they made a special trip to Guangming, trying on traditional Hanfu, strolling through Hongqiao Park, and touring the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum. They also shared their experiences on their international social media accounts, telling the world the story of a cross-cultural encounter between international artists and this science city of innovation.

The 14th China International New Media Short Film Festival attracted 3,448 entries from 119 countries and regions, providing a platform for global creativity and dialogue. The Bay Area Youth Theatre Season brought together young dramatists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and beyond, while the International Public Art Season invited world-renowned artists to create multicultural works nestled in lush green landscapes. Here, the precision of science meets the imagination of art, illuminating this district with a unique brilliance.
