Urpflanze was founded in 2019 by jewelry designer Qian Mu. Qian Mu graduated from the jewelry major of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2009, and has since started a long exploration with jewelry, metalworking and nature. For 8 years, the brand has insisted on making every sold piece of jewelry fully by hand in the studio with traditional metalworking skills, and keeps presenting new craftsmanship in each season's new design.

Most of the brand's unique textures are taken from nature. Atelier wei 隈创立于2020年,依托主理人数十年高古器物收藏,以唐宋审美为尺度,探索当代餐桌器物的转化与再生,推动中国陶瓷之美从“古”走向“今”的转化过程。

品牌包含两条造器路径:工坊出品“隈”系列,与在地匠人手作“永”系列。产品涵盖餐器、茶器、花器、酒器与礼器,并提供面向个人、家庭、餐厅、会所及企业客户的定制化生活提案。

Wei 隈 names the bend in a river, the place where mountains meet water and turn. It is also where Atelier wei begins: a reexamination of the Chinese table, and of what it means to eat and drink with intention.

Founded in late 2019, the atelier is rooted in the founder's lifelong collection of ancient Chinese ceramics. The Tang and Song dynasties are its measure — not as a style to imitate, but as a standard to think from.
