The 3rd Comic Travel Creative Design Activity in Guangming Bay Area in 2024

Project Introduction:
The first "Comic" Travel Guangming Bay Area Animation Creative Design Exhibition was named as an outstanding project of the 18th Creative December in Shenzhen in 2022.
In order to further explore the historical and cultural resources of Guangming, enhance the supply of creative cultural products, and increase the influence of the animation IP "Guang Xiaoming" after successfully hosting two sessions, the application of AI, PC, and other technologies will be improved in the animation creative scene.
Through artistic installations, multimedia images, interactive experiences, and other methods, a comprehensive immersive viewing experience will be presented. One core theme and several main branch contents will be set up on-site, integrating national animation IPs with Guangming's characteristic cultural IPs, using AI's intelligent science to enrich the application scenarios of animation, and displaying Guangming's history, culture, and technology aspects.
By introducing "Guang Xiaoming" as the future messenger in a game-like manner, leading the audience to understand the history of Guangming. Visitors will have immersive experiences of Guangming's technological charm through "popular science + experience" activity.

“非遗星球计划”国潮艺术活动

“Intangible Cultural Heritage Star Program” China-Chic Art Event

Project Description:
The event includes "an exhibition, a series of lectures, and a series of workshops." The art exhibition will be themed around "Planet Culture," showcasing the trendy IP images of 10 artists. It will feature various presentations such as large-scale IP models, art figurines of limited-edition, artists' manuscripts, art exhibition walls.
The "lectures" will bring together Chinese intangible cultural heritage inheritors, top designers, and artists to delve into in-depth discussions on intangible heritage inheritance, cross-disciplinary creativity, and art economy.
The "workshops" will invite inheritors of traditional crafts such as gold and silver metalworking, Shenzhen pyrography, and guqin art to personally lead the audience in experiencing intangible cultural heritage items.
Additionally, intangible heritage inheritors will be invited to draw a 5-meter-long scroll together with children and the audience on-site. The scroll will be exhibited at the Sky Art Museum.

The "Shenzhen Longgang: 100+ Asian Art Season" is a comprehensive international cultural and artistic event designed around the "Creative City" concept within the context of Longgang District's cultural development strategy known as "Five Cities and One Corridor." This art season is jointly initiated by art institutions from five Asian countries: China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia, and is organized by the Shenzhen Avant-Garde Arts Fringe Center.
The event consists of three major segments: "100+ Explore Asia," "100+ Live Asia," and "100+ Good Things Asia." Over a duration of more than 100 days, the festival will invite over 100 Asian artists to present more than 100 artworks, attracting over 100 cultural and creative industry organizations as core participants. The aim of the art season is to gather high-quality international artistic resources to empower cultural development in the district, foster a new urban trend among youth in the Greater Bay Area, and facilitate collaboration among cultural and creative enterprises across Asia to promote the local creative industry.

"A World of Colors" Special Exhibition of Ming and Qing Enamelware

Project Description:
The special exhibition focuses on the intangible cultural heritage of enamelware and offers an in-depth exploration of traditional Chinese enamel craftsmanship. Filigree enamel, also known as cloisonné, is an exquisite craft made of flat copper wire pinched into a pattern on a metal base, filled with enamel glaze and made through multiple processes such as roasting and polishing. This craft originated in West Asia and was introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty. After undergoing significant development and innovation during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has become a remarkable part of Chinese culture. Cloisonné is one of the "Eight Masterpieces of Yanjing," a distinguished specialty in Chinese metalwork and is recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage. The "A World of Colors" exhibition not only showcases the superb craftsmanship of cloisonné but also pays a profound tribute to traditional Chinese culture. Through the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the exquisite beauty of cloisonné and gain a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural significance behind this traditional craft.

The 2nd Shenzhen Guangming International Public Art Season (2024) will focus on the theme of "Public Art," centered around the exhibition concept "In Nature." Renowned artist Shen Shaomin will serve as the curator, inviting two internationally influential artists to create exhibition works. The project aims to invite Guan Huaibin (Professor/Doctoral Supervisor at China Academy of Art, former Dean of the School of Intermedia Art) and Shen Lieyi (Professor at the School of Sculpture and Public Art at China Academy of Art, member of the Academic Committee for Shanghai Urban Space Art Season) as the main creative artists for the exhibition. The plan includes the creation and display of no fewer than 20 public art pieces.

项目介绍：“AI时光复活馆”暨深港澳三城历史影像联展，是一场跨越时空的对话，通过大量独家珍藏的古董历史照片，深度呈现深圳、香港、澳门三地的珍贵历史照片精华，带领市民回顾三城的前世今生，感受大湾区百年来沧海桑田式的变化。
三城历史影像联展还是一次文化与科技的交融，现场还将设置独特的AI时光复活馆，通过“深港澳”三城的历史老照片及AI动态影像带领观众穿梭于深圳、香港、澳门三座城市的历史时光中，感受大湾区三城自清末以来的沧桑巨变。这不仅是一次视觉的盛宴，更是一次心灵的触动。
展览现场还将每天为一定数量的市民免费提供老照片AI“复活”服务，帮市民朋友把自己的老照片变成活生生的视频，让深圳市民体验最新的AI技术，让AI技术呈现出科技人文关怀。
项目由深圳中泽文化、华芳影像艺术空间、广州金木AI实验室共同合作呈现。
AI Time Revitalization Hall

Project Description:
The "AI Time Revitalization Hall" and the achieves exhibition of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao is a dialogue across time and space.
The exclusive antique historical photos will lead citizens to review the past and present of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao, to experience the profound changes in GBA over the past century. The trio-city exhibition is also a fusion of culture and technology. The on-site unique AI Time Revitalization Hall will lead audience to go through the historical time of Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao through historical photos and AI dynamic images, to experience the dramatic changes of the three cities in the Greater Bay Area since the late Qing Dynasty. This exhibition is not only a visual feast but also an emotional experience. Furthermore, some visitors will be provided with free AI "revitalization" services for their old photos each day at the exhibition, transforming their old photos into lively videos, experiencing the latest AI technology and showcasing the humanistic aspect of AI technology. The project is jointly presented by Shenzhen Zhongze Culture Co., Ltd, Huafang Image Art Space, and Guangzhou Jinmu AI Laboratory.
亲爱的线——法国线条艺术大师塞吉·布洛克个展

项目介绍：《亲爱的线——法国线条艺术大师塞吉·布洛克个展》计划于12月14日举办开幕预展，15日面对公众正式开展。本次展览共展出法国线条艺术大师塞吉•布洛克的86幅绘画作品和极具个人特色的装置作品，将涵盖15个主题和分区。同时，塞吉的绘本《小线条大故事》《我等待…》等也将在展厅内以动画、互动影像的形式与观众见面。
展览的设计理念是“趣味共创”和“创意共享”，在展厅内还将设置线条工作坊、创意游戏装置及AR技术体验区，观众能通过参与体验活动或用手机扫描相应画作实现现实与虚拟融合的交互式体验，沉浸式体验线条美学。展览期间还将特别策划一系列以中法文化交流为主题的公共教育活动，结合现代艺术教学手法，观众可以将中国的传统元素与线条艺术相结合，探索传统艺术在当代的应用与创新。
Beloved Lines - Solo Exhibition of French Line Art Master Serge Bloch

Project Description:
The "Beloved Lines - Solo Exhibition of French Line Art Master Serge Bloch" is set to have a preview on Dec.14 and officially open on Dec.15. The exhibition will show 86 paintings and highly personalized installation works from the French Line Art Master Serge Bloch, covering 15 themes and sections.
Serge's picture books "The Big Story of Little Lines" and "I Am Waiting..." will also be presented to the audience in form of animation and interactive images in the exhibition hall. The exhibition is designed under the concept of "fun co-creation" and "creative sharing," featuring line workshops, creative game installations, and an AR technology experience area.
Visitors can engage in experiential activities or scan corresponding artwork with their phones to interact between reality and virtual worlds, immersing themselves in the aesthetics of lines.
Furthermore, a series of public educational activities focusing on Sino-French cultural exchange will be planned during the exhibition which incorporates modern art teaching methods. Audiences can blend traditional Chinese elements with line art, exploring the application and innovation of traditional art in contemporary settings.

Marking the 44th anniversary of the founding of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Aug. 26, Shenzhen Media Group, in collaboration with Tencent Research Institute, initiated the "AI Drawing Shenzhen" competition.
This competition aims to engage everyone in envisioning and creating the future city of Shenzhen through AI tools in a tangible and immersive manner.
The exhibition will showcase excellent works from the competition, demonstrating how designers creatively utilize AI tools in combination with concepts of future cities. The designs are based on a deep integration of technology,city and innovation, depicting the future cityscape of Shenzhen or envisioning the future city prototype of the Tencent headquarters using AI tools. It reflects forward-thinking on the evolution of Shenzhen's urban landscape, industrial structure, natural ecology, cultural characteristics, as well as the progress of energy, transportation, and service systems.

The "Chinese White Porcelain · Rhythm of the World: World Intangible Heritage Ceramics Cultural Series Activities" are being held at the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange and the Greater Bay Art Space from Dec.3, 2024 to Jan.3, 2025. This activities aim to promote Chinese traditional culture, facilitate the inheritance of intangible heritage skills, and foster innovation in cultural and artistic industries. The activities include ceramic creative design, ceramic crafts exhibitions, salons, lectures, creating a comprehensive platform that integrates display, education, experience, and exchange to showcase the charm of Chinese ceramic culture.
It aims to spark public interest in traditional craft culture. As a national-level cultural property trading platform, the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange has set up an online trading exhibition area for ceramic creative design works and ceramic crafts. "Sharing Beauty" Li Min Illustration Exhibition - China Daily News Illustrations is a cultural and artistic feast jointly presented by China Daily and the Shenzhen Illustration Association.
As the economic giant sails through the waves, Chinese culture flourishes in inheritance, and technological innovation breaks through the sky.
The exhibition, themed "telling Chinese stories, disseminating the Chinese voice, and showcasing the Chinese image," paints a magnificent picture of the country's development through five main topics.
Li Min, with his innovative artistic approach, ingeniously integrates traditional meticulous painting techniques, Chinese traditional culture, and modern popular aesthetics. Vesuvius, capturing the moment of disaster, and ultimately bringing Pompeii back to life.
