A six-meter-high bronze statue of Confucius (551-479 B.C.), one of China’s greatest philosophers, unveiled in Donghu Park yesterday morning.A number of activities, including sacrificial rites in veneration of Confucius and a mass wedding ceremony, were held after the statue was unveiled.
