Young people in Bao'an District, Shenzhen present flowers Thursday to Lin Mingwei (in red T-shirt), a physical education teacher with Bao'an Middle School who plans to tour Europe and Asia by cycle in 45 days to promote Shenzhen's bid to host the 26th Universiade in 2011. Lin and two of his teammates left Shenzhen on Thursday to join another team member in Beijing from where they will go to Stockholm, Sweden. The 45-day journey, which will cover 5,000-km and 11 countries in Europe and Asia, will start from Stockholm on July 18. (Qiu Haibin)
