6月21日，农历五月廿三。

“昼晷已云极，宵漏自此长”。温热的暑气将我们吹向这一年中白昼最长的一天——夏至。

在古代，夏至又称夏节，人们已在田间收获了这一季的新麦，于是便有了夏至吃面的习俗。

Chinese ancestors also called it Summer Festival. People welcome the summer wheat harvest and eat noodles to celebrate this day.

Cicadas are chirping and lotus is dancing with the breeze. This is the longest day for us to stay with sunlight. Yet it is still not the hottest day of a year.
