赛艇运动起源于17世纪的英国，也是奥运会比赛项目。河道开阔、水流平缓的大沙河，特别适合赛艇，尤其是下游段河道70米宽，水深1米多，可并排下三条赛艇。2017年5月，得益于深圳一系列卓有成效的水质治理，水清道直景美的大沙河开始修建赛艇码头；当年8月，第一批深圳赛艇爱好者开始在河面上畅快划艇。
Rowing originated from the17th century England, which is also an Olympic event. Dasha River is large and flat, so it is especially suitable for rowing. Especially the down stream section, which is70 meters wide and more than1 meter deep, can be arranged in three boats.
In May2017, thanks to a series of effective controlling measures of water quality in Shenzhen, the Dasha River began to build a rowing wharf. In August, the first Shenzhen rowing fans began rowing on the river.
