On the Chinese New Year’s Day
the streets are all decorated
with lanterns and festoons
to celebrate the festive season
and families are reunited
to celebrate the New Year.
宝民小学陈昕儒同学邀请留深的外教Julia去拜年，一起感受喜气洋洋的中国新年。在路上，陈昕儒告诉Julia拜年是人们辞旧迎新、相互表达美好祝愿的一种方式。
Xinru Chen from Baomin Primary School invited Julia to pay a New Year call and experience the joyful Chinese New Year together. On their way home, Xinru Chen told Julia that paying a new year call is a way for people to bid farewell to the old year and usher in the new, and to express their best wishes to each other.
