食以蚝为鲜
今天宝安职教集团的同学们
带着外教来探访
千年蚝乡——宝安沙井
赏蚝屋、品蚝味
While food is the stuff of life,
freshness is the stuff of oysters.
Today, the students from Bao’an Vocational
Education Group took their foreign teachers
to visit Shajing, Bao’an
— the oyster town boasting
a history of thousands of years,
to sightsee the oyster shell house
and taste oysters.

素有“千年蚝乡”之誉
沙井人世代食蚝
形成了独具特色的蚝文化
来到蚝乡
同学们首先带着外教参观了蚝壳屋
并讲解了蚝壳屋的历史和文化
Shajing Sub-district in Bao’an District is known as
“an oyster town with thousands of years of history”.
Oysters have been food for people in Shajing for
generations so that a unique oyster culture
has taken shape.
Arriving at the oyster town
the students took the foreign teachers
to visit the oyster shell house
and explained the history and culture of it.
几千年来，沙井人用自己的智慧打造了一间间别具风格的蚝壳屋，他们追求美好生好的愿景，一一呈现在那一面面蚝壳墙上。那美丽的蚝壳墙，平平仄仄，层层叠叠，每一层都像大树的年轮记载着她的历史，讲述着曾经沧海桑田的故事，震憾人心，让人仿佛听到了大海的波浪声，蚝民的号角声。
The wisdom of people in Shajing and their aspiration for a happy life over the past thousands of years have been manifested in the oyster shell houses and walls. The shells on the beautiful green brick and oyster shell walls, arranged vertically and horizontally, layers on layers, record the history like annul rings of a tree, telling its ups and downs in a moving way. Amid the delivery of those ancient stories, comes the sound of waves and horns of oyster farmers.

外教在专业人士的指导下
体验了亲手开蚝的乐趣
Leaving the oyster shell house,
the students took the foreign teachers
to the oyster shop in the market.
With the guidance of professionals,
foreign teachers experienced the enjoyment
of opening oysters.
漫步在沙井老街的青石板路上
参观着老屋宗祠
同学们和外教一起感受着
蚝乡古镇独特文化魅力
Strolling on the bluestone-paved old street in Shajing,
and visiting the ancestral hall of Laowu,
students and foreign teachers felt the unique
cultural charm of Oyster Town together.
蚝，不仅是一道美食
也是人们美好生活的寄托
在举国同庆的新春佳节之际
宝安教育也祝大家
新年有滋有味儿
“蚝”气冲天！
Oyster is not only a delicious dish,
but also the sustenance of people’s wonderful life.
