CULTURAL ties between China and Kuwait will be strengthened following the visit of the secretary general of the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters to the Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF).
Bader S. A. Al-Rifai has visited the fair, Dafen oil-painting village, Shenzhen Grand Theater and Diwang Mansion during his stay in the city.
Al-Rifai said he’s as familiar with Chinese culture as other Kuwaitis. Chinese wash painting and calligraphy are among his favorites.
“I’m visiting China to sign the second three-year cultural program between Kuwait and China, and scheduled to leave for Beijing on Friday,” he said.
The two countries are expected to expand their cultural cooperation further this year.
