China Hi-Tech Fair
Sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation, the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Committee, the Ministry of Education, the National Intellectual Property Bureau, the Academy of Sciences and the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, China Academy of Engineering, the First China Hi-Tech Fair has been held in October every year since 1999.
The sixth China Hi-Tech Fair was held in the newly built Shenzhen Exhibition center in 2004. A total of 115 delegations from 42 nations and regions, 62 multinationals, 4,041 exhibitors from home and abroad, 9,674 projects and 1,882 investors attended the fair.
