Fine Chemical Industrial Park
The park is located in Dapeng Peninsula, covering an area of 12 sqkm. The first phase of the park lasts from 2005 to 2015, the second lasts from 2015 to 2025. It is targeted to develop fine chemical industry. Currently, six noted Japanese enterprises have signed an agreement of investment in the park.
National Bio-medicine Industry Base
Shenzhen has become the first national bio-tech industry base in Pan-Pearl River Delta, the first of its kind in the nation. It is planned to develop the bio-medicine industry into the backbone industry of Shenzhen's economy within 10 years, as well as a place to integrate bio-medicine industry at world class level. In 2004, the output of Shenzhen's bio-medicine industry amounted to 17.01 billion yuan, ranking the third in China's large and medium cities. The core of the industrial base is Shenzhen Municipal Hi-tech Industrial Park, expanding as Guangming sub-park and Nan'ao sub-park. It is aimed in Guangming sub-park to lure major bio-medicine projects of international or national class, build experimented animal center, GMP testing center, and sample machine testing center of bio-medicine engineering. It is planned to build oceanic bio-tech products testing base in Nan'ao sub-park.
