Strong City Education
Over the past 25 years, the national education system in Shenzhen is fully developed. It created a system of basic education, higher education, professional education and adult education. Shenzhen become the first strong education city in Guangdong Province in August 2004. Investment into the city's education totals 947,000 yuan in 2004 and an education development fund has been established.
